So there I was hanging out in Altrumm Ruins (euro server) ready to go and cap a leet skill and all of a sudden dozens and dozens on Mo/Me appear....litrally loads...they all look the same, random names, no guilds. They all run with no party in to the Altrumm Ruins, more and more kept appearing and running to Altrumm Ruins obviously to farm it...all Mo/Me, all guildless, all with no party..

I smell bots...sniff sniff

Bots? In Altrumm Ruins? By George I think this is the first I've ever heard of it. It must be a joke right? There wouldn't be bots in Guild Wars. Right?

Sorry I dont appricate your sarcasm and find it offensive. If you do a forum search there is only 3, yes 3 other posts in relation to Altrumm Ruins, this is the riverside inn where i can rightfully post without reciveing sarcastic abuse

Suggestion: Anet assign a hotkey for "Report Bot Location" service....maybe less people will use this forum for such "important announcements".

I find it hard to believe there are only 3, but even so, 3 is too many, since e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e and their minipets know about the Altrumm Ruin bot dilemma.

m8 I've tried my self to turn attention to that especially cuz of the fact they "know when we move one item in storage to other spot", but my post wuz soon closed, so believe me that they are aware of that but how much they work on it?! not sure... they say they do and that the with GWEN will come some new security measures... so basicly I know it hurts, but try to ignore them

I'm sorry Tutis, this is GW Guru where everyone is a Guru and being a Guru means you ALWAYS have to flame someone who posted a thread thats been done before. /endsarcasm

Yes, Altrum is a well known bot spot. You can sent a ticket about it if you feel like you have to do something, but they will be back, until a nerf. Sad thing about it is thats where I used to farm before and drops not really, REALLY suck, the greens included. Snif.

And, as you said yourself, you've found 3 other topics about Altrum - I think this is enough not to start yet annother one.

Doing a search gets 7 results total, 3 of which are about bots.

Have all the Altrumm bots moved to the European servers or something? Early this AM I was in Altrumm Ruins, American server, for some cartographer mapping and noticed the swarm of bots was gone. If it stays like that I may feel it safe to start farming Wardens again.

I just went to Altrum Ruins, and the bots were all gone...not a single one running to the signpost, then out the exit.

same thing in Granite Citadel, all the bots are gone.

Its about damned time ANet finally got off it's ass and did something about the bots...
